Process
Design and Planning:
We will arrange for our architect to visit you to discuss your ideas and to advise you what is feasible inline with planning regulations. He will produce a draft drawing for your perusal.
If you are happy with the draft he will produce detailed drawings and submit them to your local planning and building control office. At this stage we can give you an estimated cost for the build.
Post Planning Approval:
Once the planning office has approved your drawings, we will arrange to survey your property and discuss your exact requirements. We will require a copy of your approved drawings, from which we will be able to provide you with a personal quotation, detailing the works which it includes.
Final Arrangments:
If you are happy with our quotation we will visit you to arrange a start date for your project and also discuss payment terms. We will provide you with an estimated timescale for the build.
The Build:
First of all we will clear the site and erect safety fencing etc. where necessary, ready for the project to begin. Once we have started your build we will see it right through to completion, ensuring that the site is kept clean and tidy along the way. We believe that a clean site, is a safe efficient site!
Throughout the course of the build an inspector from the local building control office will make regular visits to ensure that each stage of the build is completed to a good standard and in compliance with the building regulations.
At the end of the build after we have submitted the electrical and gas certificates, the building inspector will provide you with a completion certificate.
We will ensure that everything is completed to your satisfaction before we leave.
Post Build:
Once the building work has finished we will arrange for a thorough clean of your property, inside and out.
As with any new build there is a possibility of some settlement and as a result we will make arrangements to return at a later convenient date to carry out any necessary remedial work. |
